Our Story
Position is run by Lewis and Murrin (and their canine studio assistant, Lotus), a creative duo who have combined their personal interests and careers into one. Position is a family and neurodivergent-run studio.
Lewis has years of hands-on, practical photography experience, quietly supporting both emerging and globally recognised brands under strict NDAs, while Murrin has been supporting the creative shoots and practical operations from the sidelines.
They strongly believe that photography isn’t just about looks – it’s about building trust, boosting conversions, and delivering a seamless, satisfying customer experience. And that’s what we do best.

Lewis Baillie (he/him), BDes Graphic Design
Founder & Creative Director
After spending the last few years working with long-term clients in product photography and 360° spaces and refining my workflow, I wanted to expand and offer these services to more clients. I have a creative background, and photography has always been a passion of mine. I’m a big advocate for sustainable business practices and neuroaffirming spaces, and I embed these principles in the work that I do here.
Murrin Huarachi (she/her), BA (Hons) Business Management
Managing Director
I hold a background in project management and business development. I support Position with all things, from being the first point of contact to getting stuck in with the creativity of a shoot in our studio. I have a big passion for community building and development. Outside of Position, I work in the Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Research field and hold numerous voluntary roles with local charities.
Lotus Botus (she/her), Rescue Pup
Canine Studio Assistant
Lotus is our rescue pup from Romania, she was rescued from a kill shelter at 6 months old. She has been with us in Scotland for almost 5 years now! She is always on hand to lend her calming presence to the studio and provide some ASMR snores to the background of our working days. When she isn’t snoozing, she is usually on the hunt for treats or adventuring through the woods or beach on her favourite walks!
